Square Rigger

This is my first paid commission. I was hesitant to take on the commission, as I have never made it a habit to draw boats, much less such complex ones. In the end, I'm glad I did. It taught me how to draw in a different way, as I had to break down the ship into each individual element, and think about it as a gathering of shapes rather than a whole picture.

I do believe the experience will help me to become a better artist. Best five bucks I ever made!
